In short: We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register on the Services, express interest in our products and services, participate in activities on the Services (including booking hosted trips or charters, purchasing merchandise, or engaging as a sponsor/partner), or otherwise contact us. This may include:
- Names
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Mailing addresses
- Contact or authentication data
- Contact preferences
- Passwords
- Billing addresses
- Debit/credit card numbers
- Usernames
- Business/company name and job title (for sponsor and partner contract signers)
- Flight and travel itinerary details (for hosted trip participants, used to coordinate airport pickups and trip logistics)
Sensitive information. We do not process sensitive information (such as racial/ethnic origin, health data, or biometric data).
Payment data. We may collect data necessary to process payments if you make a purchase, such as your payment instrument number and associated security code. All payment data is handled and stored by Stripe. You may find their privacy notice at stripe.com/privacy.
All personal information you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes.
Information automatically collected
In short: Some information — such as your IP address, browser, and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.
This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information: IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, general location, and other technical information. This is used to maintain security and operation of the Services and for internal analytics and reporting.
Log and Usage Data. Service-related, diagnostic, and performance information our servers automatically collect, including your activity in the Services (pages viewed, features used, timestamps) and device event information (error reports, hardware settings).
Cookies. We use a limited number of cookies: authentication/session cookies set by Clerk, used only if you sign in to the Partner Portal or Trip Portal — these keep you signed in and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not use advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics (site-usage statistics) is cookieless.
Google API
Our use of information received from Google APIs (used for charter availability calendar sync) adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2. How Do We Process Your Information?
In short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.
We process your personal information for reasons including:
- To facilitate account creation, authentication, and account management
- To deliver and facilitate delivery of services you request (charter bookings, hosted trip participation, merch orders, sponsor contracts)
- To respond to inquiries and provide support
- To send administrative information about our products, services, and policy changes
- To fulfill and manage orders, payments, returns, and exchanges
- To send marketing and promotional communications (with opt-out available at any time)
- To protect our Services, including fraud monitoring and prevention
- To evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and user experience
- To identify usage trends
- To comply with legal obligations
4. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
In short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this notice, unless a longer period is required by law.
No purpose in this notice requires us to keep your personal information for longer than twelve (12) months past termination of your account, except as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legal requirements.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk.
6. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
In short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or sell personal information from children under 13. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 13, and that if you are a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside (generally under the age of 18), your parent or guardian has read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions and consents to your use of the Services. If we learn we've collected data from a user under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will deactivate the account and delete the data. In short: You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your location.
Withdrawing consent. Where we rely on your consent to process your information, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us. This will not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
Opting out of marketing. Unsubscribe via the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us. We may still send non-marketing, service-related messages.
Account information. To review, change, or terminate your account, contact us using the details below. Upon termination, we will deactivate/delete your account and information, except where retention is needed for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
8. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
Most browsers include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature. No uniform standard for recognizing DNT signals currently exists, so we do not respond to DNT signals at this time.
9. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

We have not sold or shared personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months. See Section 3 for the categories of third parties we disclose information to for service-delivery purposes.

Contact us at contact@unfathomedfishing.com. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of authorization. We will verify your identity before processing any request.
Appeals
If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by emailing contact@unfathomedfishing.com. We will respond in writing with the outcome and reasoning. If denied, you may submit a complaint to your state attorney general.
California “Shine the Light” Law
California residents may request, once per year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Submit requests in writing to the contact details in Section 11.

In short: Yes, as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.
We may update this Privacy Notice periodically. The updated version will show a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via prominent notice or direct notification.
